My name is Araia, and I am a storyteller at heart. Photography is more than a creative outlet for me — it is a way to honor people, culture, and the world around us. I believe every moment holds meaning, and my passion is capturing those quiet glances, bold laughs, and powerful stories that deserve to be remembered.

My journey as a photographer has taken me far from home and brought me right back to my roots. I studied at the University of Hawaii and the University of Minnesota, where I had the opportunity to expand not only my technical skills, but my creative perspective. Those experiences opened my eyes to the beauty of different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life — and strengthened my love for visual storytelling.

Today, I bring that knowledge and passion into every session. Whether I’m photographing families, graduates, couples, or community events, my goal is to create warm, authentic images that reflect identity, connection, and pride.
